Custom formulated, tested, and sold for bulkhead sealing to kayak manufacturers. EM 89 was custom designed specifically for long term adhesion to roto-molded polyethylene. It’s extreme elastomer content is intentional resulted in its being the sole sealant to pass long-term cold impact tests. Sold in bulk to kayak manufacturers since 2011, this custom product has proven itself through rigorous field application and is now the most widely used bulkhead sealant by to kayak manufacturers in North America. The sealant need not be exposed to ambient air for cure.
