EvoTX4 4ply Fabric

Designed specifically for the new Nookie drywear range, EvoTX4 from Nookie has been developed and tested with the sole focus on performance. Proven to be tough for professional and expedition use, with quick drying properties and a flexible feel that is comfortable wear.

EvoTX 500D Reinforced Fabric

Designed to compliment EvoTX4, EvoTX 500D is even tougher. The 500D Nylon construction is like Cordura but with the added benefit it is waterproof and breathable. The dense weave protects all high wear areas, such as the seat, knees and cuffs in a garment, without extra bulk.

2ply CentreX Fabric

This fabric has been newly developed but tested for over two years before market release in 2017 primarily into the NKE range of products. Tough, durable yet flexible fabric for heavy duty use.

1. Durable 320D Nylon face fabric that is flexible and tough.
Coated with Durable Water Repellant (DWR)
2. Microporus grey coating (grey is more durable than standard white)

Enduro Mesh

Designed originally for motorbike wear, this exceptional fabric offers great abrasion resistance, breathability, and drainage. Furthermore, its soft handling flexibility belies its toughness. This means that stress is not concentrated along the edges of panels, something that causes a lot of wear and tear on waterproof fabrics reinforced with other materials.

Cordura

Also originally designed for motorbike wear, this special type of hi-tensile nylon is incredibly abrasion and tear resistant. We have used it for decades as the outer fabric for our buoyancy aids because of it’s proven track record for durability in and out of the water. We’re so impressed by it, there isn’t a buoyancy aid in this years range that doesn’t use it.

Softcore Thermal Technology

This infamous fabric in the Nookie range is used in our base layer thermals. It boasts UPF 30 sun protection in a four way stretch fabric for fantastic fit. The fluffy brushed inner side offers warmth, wind protection, wicking properties and climate control in the softest most comfortable fitting thermal you will ever buy. And not to forget, it is machine washable and exceptionally quick drying.

Polartec Classic 100 Recycled

Polartec Classic fabrics are the reference standard for lightweight, warmth & breathability. This is the original fleece offering unparalleled durability & quality. Polartec Classic fabrics have been the primary insulation layer of choice among experienced outdoor enthusiasts for nearly three decades. Polartec Classic 100 weight fabrics are excellent for a warm first layer or lightweight sweater. Ideal for wear under a drysuit or shell garments. This Polartec Classic 100 fleece not only provides warmth without weight but is breathable & durable, dries quickly and is a great styling option for virtually every end use. This fabric contains at least 50% recycled content, saving natural resources and energy while reducing CO2 emissions.

How does it work? – The 100% Polyester velour construction creates air pockets that trap air and retain body heat. Unlike other fleece fabrics, Polartec Classic 100 maintain their insulating ability and non-pilling appearance after repeated laundering.

Tsangpo

Palm’s warmest layer. This Tecnostretch waffle fleece from the Italian fleece specialist Pontetorto is Bluesign certified. Snug, elastic, and resistant to pilling, it’s so nice, you’ll want to wear it every day. And you can, thanks to Polygiene’s anti-bacterial treatment, which inhibits the bacteria responsible for that unpleasant damp gear smell. 270 g/m2 • 65% polyester, 25% polypropylene, 10% elastane

Helios

A super soft feel fabric with mini-grid weave – working for you wicking perspiration on hot sunny days and as a cold weather baselayer, redistributing moisture helping your breathable outerwear work for you to prevent coldspots. With sun protection factor 50+ it blocks 98% of the sun’s harmful UV rays. It’s made from 82% post consumer recycled polyester and it’s treated with Polygiene odour control.108 g/m2 100% polyester (82% recycled)

NeoFlex Neoprene

CR neoprene

Close fitting and highly insulating,whether wet or dry, neoprene is also buoyant, perfect for watersports wear.Palm use limestone rubber that’s not oil based, which generates 24% less CO2 in the production process† and uses pigment made from old tyres. Quick Dry Neoprene

The plush Quick Dry thermal lining used in Palmpremium products dries faster than conventional neoprene, making it a joy to put on. A high-loft nylon and polyester waffle lining drains freely and is also highly insulating, reducing the weight for maximum warmth.100% limestone chloroprene rubber • bonded face 52% nylon, 40% polyester, 8% elastane

Titanium stretch Neoprene

Green Neoprene items are very stretchy Neospan neoprene, with a thickness of less than 2 mm. Extra insulation comes from the titanium coating which reflects your body heat. For freedom of movement in colder water

Jersey lined neoprene

Blue neoprene items are 3 mm thick chloroprene rubber with a nylon jersey fabric inside and out and a robust edge binding. Insulating, waterproof andwindproof neoprene for everyday use.

NeoFlex Neoprene

Grey neoprene items are super thin 0.5mm NeoFlex. Very well fitting with extra warmth and comfort comes from the knitted thermal lining. For active use in mild conditions

Quick Dry Thermal Neoprene

Orange items are thicker 3-4 mm neoprene with a Quick Dry thermal lining. The high-loft nylon/polyester waffle lining drains freely, it’s dry to the touch and highly insulating. Palm’s warmest gloves, socks, boots and suits for the coldest conditions.

Outerwear fabrics

From hard wearing whitewater drysuits to light and packable touring jackets, we’ve
developed a range of breathable waterproof fabrics to suit every use. We use fabric
woven from recycled yarns with PFAS-free finishes and match these with the best
seam-sealing tapes to keep you comfortable on the water.

XP-2.5-layer lightweight

Palm’s lightest, most packable fabric has a finer, more tightly woven face fabric. This combined with their hydrophobic microporous coating and ‘dry touch’ PU print makes for a durable, but more refined garment that can always be packed to take with you and available when you need it.
XP 2.5-layer lightweight fabric can be found in jackets like the Tora where comfort and breathability are key.

XP 4-layer Seawastex®

Palm’s toughest, most waterproof fabric. Made from recycled ocean waste. Warm moisture vapour inside your jacket is able to pass through the microporous barrier and the extra hydrophilic layer ‘sucks’ moisture from inside your jacket to the outside. Inside, the soft, absorbent mesh liner helps by dispersing
moisture across a greater area of membrane.
XP 4-layer Seawastex® fabric can be found in Palm premium drysuits like the Atom where waterproofness and durability are vital.Tough and abrasion resistant Seawastex® recycled nylon face fabric with PFAS-free DWR.

garments. The microporous coating barrier
and the extra hydrophilic layer ‘sucks’

The soft, absorbent mesh liner helps by
dispersing moisture across the membrane. A
quiet fabric with a soft hand feel.
XP 4-layer stretch fabric can be found in our
Fuse line of garments where athleticism and
freedom of movement are appreciated. Soft and supple face fabric is 94% recycled
nylon with 6% elastane with PFAS-free DWR.

XP 2.5-layer Seawastex®

Palm’s hard working 2.5-layer dry-touch fabric
made from recycled fishing nets and ocean
waste. Engineered for a great combination
of durability, waterproofness, breathability
and light weight. The ‘dry touch’ PU print
(the extra half-layer on our two layer fabric)
makes the inside smooth and comfortable as
well as protecting the waterproof coating.
XP 2.5-layer Seawastex® fabric can be found
in our everyday jackets and pants like the
