This Tie Off Cleat is 10cm long and features a downward horn configuration as well as a tapered belly and points. Can be used to control and secure lines (cord) as well as a guide eye.
Normally mounted on a kayak deck and used to secure cord using a cleat hitch it can also be used to slow or aid in the retrieval of cord as a friction device as well as to direct the feed out of cord. Commonly used in anchor systems or general tethering point can also be used as part of a sail or outrigger system.
