Dagger Contour Back Band Black – with ratchet straps

The Dagger Contour Back band, a kayak backband that will add extra comfort and support whilst on your kayaking adventures. This kayak backrest is fitted with kayak ratchet straps to suit Dagger white water kayaks (may also fit other brands including WaveSport), offering a good range of adjustment and are easily fitted to your kayak. Whilst these are designed for use in Dagger Kayaks, they will also fit other brands of kayak.

Comes with an addiotional 3 short straps and a 3 arm cherry expansion  rivet suitable for attaching to plastic and fibreglass without pulling through. These straps are used to hold the backrest up and in position as well as to help it hold it’s shape. Each strap comes with a side release buckle to allow detaching them for easy access behind the backrest (for storage) into the rear of the kayak.

2 straps are used to connect the top of the back band to the coaming

1 strap (and rivet) is to connect the bottom of the back band to the back of the seat’s bottom rest.
