Complete rear rudder components for a trailing style rudder specific to Finn branded kayaks. Includes: Mounting plate, Rudder Blade and rudder housing. Suits Endorfinn, Molokai, Affinity etc.

Screw it onto the boat and connect the cables, off you go!

This is the flip up river rudder, some kayaks may have been supplied with an underslung/ surf rudder which is different.

This is supplied assembled, but not with the screws required to attach it to your kayak moulded in mounting points.

You will need to attach the rudder cables (or cords) that connect the feet pedals to the rudder (to control the the direction of the rudder) – we suggest not tying it in directly as this can cause wear on the plastic.

Rounded Stainless U Shackles are a reliable long lasting easy and cheap way to attach either stainless steel cable or spectra (or other brand name kevlar etc.) cord.
