Jar Holder for 150mm Hatch

This sits inside the lip of the 15cm Bayonet Hatch we sell and provides a secure mounting point for Jars (available from some supermarkets etc.)

Storing your electronics inside a waterproof screw-top lidded container inside a hatch is a great way of making sure they still work at the end of a kayaking session or trip, and that your wallet is happier, (for some reason wet electronics often involve expenses.) It also helps keep all your stuff in one accessible place not inside down the back of the kayak out of arms reach.

This is specifically designed to fit inside the hatch we sell (see linked product below), however, this hatch is common and was provided as standard on several brands of Australian kayaks at various times e.g. Finn & Spirit.

It may also fit other similar size hatches but there are many varieties so it a matter of try it and see but many of them will work. You can however normally replace the hatch easily enough (we recommend that you consider replacing the female section of a hatch at the same time as replacing a threaded or bayonet hatch cover to preserve the waterproof integrity of the seals and ensure compatibility.
