Kajak Sport Footrest 2 Rudder Steering System Toe Controlled

This steering control system is based on the Kajak Sport standard footrest 2 with some additions and contains the front half of the rudder controls for a kayak, (i.e. Footrests mounted on rails with toe controls and rudder steering cord but not the rear rudder bit or internal tubing routing) Easy to fit and use it is tough and comfortable

KS Footrest 2 is a rod adjusted footrest system for kayaks. It is easy to adjust by hand even while seated in the kayak. The Pedal is ergonomically designed and feels comfortable even with bare feet, to the standard footrest 2 is added additional steering system parts. This set includes steering pedals and springs for the pedal, Dynema Cord (colour may vary) and Cord length adjusters.

The footrest has 30 cm (11,8“) adjustable travel distance along the rail. Two mounting holes (measuring 369 mm / 14,52” apart). Footrest can be fixed with screws or optional M6 x 30 mm fasteners.

Footrest construction is self-cleaning and maintenance free. Strong and solid construction is made of high quality materials and it’s fully corrosion free.

The Kajak-Sport fine adjustment piece for steering rope is specially designed for adjusting the length of the steering rope in the steering system. The adjustment margin is 31 cm and the major features are the non-slide action and the easy usage.
