Kajak Sport Skeg System Type 3 Pro No Flange (Wire Version)

The Kajak Sport Pro Skeg System is a powerful and reliable retractable skeg system pro for composite, thermoformed and polyethylene kayaks.
This is the version where the box that contains the skeg has no flange. This is designed for composite boats where the box will be glassed into position and a flange is unnecessary
The injection moulded skeg box is made to stay clean from dirt and other obstacles to reduce the risk of jamming. The skeg blade is well supported to the skeg box with integrated framework. The box is simple to install either from in- or outside in the production and it can also be retrofitted. The system also includes skeg control unit. The skeg control unit can be installed in to the deck of the kayak with or without a recess, and the control unit is simple and precise to use.
Note that this control unit can also be combined with other skeg systems as well and is available separetly from us.
This may be a special order as the standard model with a flange can be used in a wider variety of boats including composites and provides greater security when fitted. The flange can be removed if required.
