This Mad River 32.5 inch wood and cane canoe seat is a replacement for Mad River Canoes but can be used most brands of canoe that take wood outfitting. Simple, reliable and dry.
This is a traditional flat ash framed seat with cane insert and is lightweight and comfortable and does not hold or absorb water. Found standard on many Mad River Royalex and composite canoes with wood, IQ2, or aluminum gunwales. It measures 9.5 inches wide by 32.5 inches long. Best used to replace bow or stern seats it will need to be cut to size and may be too small for use as a Centre Seat.
Colour is provided by a natural Stain
We recommend measuring before purchase, and may not suite especially narrow canoes
