The Mission cockpit covers stop air rushing into your kayak while being transported on your roof, drastically reducing wind resistance and saving you money on fuel costs.
It is also perfect for storing your kayak because it keeps all those annoying creepy crawlies from creeping and crawling into your kayak!.
*Note Care should be taken when used on a car. Not all kayaks have cockpit rims that will securely hold a cockpit cover at high speed. We recommend attaching your cover to a deck line with a snap hook or carabiner as well as/or use of an additional belly strap around the kayak and cover to ensure you don’t lose your cover on the highway.
Because these are stretchy neoprene some people will prefer an “easier to put it on” fit and others a “taut but harder to get it on” fit. Many kayaks will have two sizes that will fit and there will be a personal preference choosing the size for your kayak. Some kayaks will not have a size that fits so feel free to ask and we will see if we can advise.
