Mission Taupo Canoe Paddle Looking for a virtually Indestructible paddle? The Taupo Canoe paddle is probably our toughest and most durable Canoe paddle suited to groups. Even on white water the Taupo will put up with more abuse and use than alternatives.

The Taupo canoe paddle features the reputable Mission Kayaks Taupo blade (made from Fibreglass reinforced polypropylene plastic) mounted on tough an anodised aluminium alloy shaft with Mission’s plastic T Grip for added control even in smaller hands.

Mission’s Taupo Paddle Blade is made from Fibreglass reinforced polypropylene. The Taupo shaft is an Anodised aluminium alloy with a T style hand grip (as opposed to Palm or Pear shape) for greater control especially for smaller hands or in rougher conditions.

The Taupo blade is symmetrical and measures 43 cm x 20 cm. Colours of the blade (and the colour of text on the blade) may vary from images.

The Taupo paddle blade is named after Lake Taupo in Aotearoa New Zealand which drains into the Waikato River (the longest river they have), both great paddling destinations.
