Take care when fitting

After fitting to preserve your latex seals as much as possible avoid contact with fingernails, insect repellent, Sunscreen (and other chemicals). Rinse after use and dry away from heat and UV light (Sun).

These replacements will need fitting with glue etc. We recommend checking out the methods of installation before buying to ensure you feel comfortable to do it.

Aquaseal FD is a suitable adhesive for gasket repairs.

Note that Fingernails, Insect repellent, and sunscreen are all known to cause degradation in seals so to keep them in good condition avoid contact with these and rinse garments in cold, fresh water after every use. Store paddling gear in a dry, dark, and cool place, away from any strong fumes such as diesel or resins. An ideal storage temperature is 10-20 degrees Celsius.
Make sure your gear is fully dried inside and out before storing away. (Perhaps use some Silicon desiccant packs to help)
