This is a thumb nut used to secure the metal threaded pin/bolt that holds the Pilot Pedal Drive in place allowing it to rotate in and out of the water on Perception Kayaks Pedal drive Kayaks. Best used as a replacement part for some Perception kayaks outfitted with a pedal drive. This nut is apparently an M8 .
Suits models with Perception Pilot Drive including the Pilot, Showdown and Crank.
