The Tandem Rudder Extension Strap with Buckle is the replacement strap that allows you to adjust the length of your rudder’s foot controls. This is the front strap with a male buckle end. Will need the appropriate female buckle already.
For use with the Tandem Rudder Kit. Allows you to adjust the length of the rudder’s foot controls.

This is a specific part for Tandem or double kayaks with the ability to be paddled solo in particular those made by Perception, Dagger or Wilderness Systems. This system enables you to adjust the length of the rudder steering cables for use with a second set of pedals when paddling the kayak solo.
Contents 2 Straps with velcro loop to hold excess webbing one end is an adjustable position (length) male side release buckle and other has an attachment to allow use of a screw to secure the strap (and rudder cord/cable) to the keepers footrest rail.
Common models with this system are the open cockpit recreational kayaks such as the Wilderness Systems Pamlico 135T, 145T, Perception Cove, and other older versions
Female buckle parts can be found in the kit with MPN 9800559 to make complete “Rudder Extension Set”.
