Stellar S14 – Ultra Lightweight Excel Construction

Stellar’s second-generation S14(G2) has added some beam to increase the primary stability and a touch of volume for the carrying capacity. Retaining it’s the smooth efficient feel in the water with updated features above the waterline. This is the ultralight weight (14.7 kg) Excel construction with a retractable skeg for tracking.
We do carry stellar kayaks in stock but if you don’t see listed the colour or model that you’re after, please ask us, there are many options and we can’t carry them all all the time. We can get you the availability and any other information for you. Price does vary depending on the construction layup. Some features and colour design options also effect the price. The S14 G2 kayak is also available in the slightly heavier but still lightweight advantage construction.
Stellar 14′ Touring Kayak (S14 G2)
The second-generation Stellar S14(G2) pays homage to the original in its hull shape, but stellar have added some beam to increase the primary stability and a touch of volume for the carrying capacity. You will find this boat retains the smooth efficient feel in the water with updated features above the waterline. A paddle recess behind the cockpit rim, a wider and more functional lock bar and more aggressive cut-aways make for a tighter catch and modern look, plus the convenience of a deck pod makes storing a phone or keys easy. To round out this best seller, Stellar refined the ergonomics of the cockpit and seating position for better rotation and rolling.
This is the Excel Construction version and comes with a retractable skeg and is rudder ready.
Excel is the lightest version carried in Australia and is cheaper than the special order Ultra Layup (approx. 100 grams difference) (the other version carried is the stronger heavier Advantage layup )
Rudder Ready makes it easy to install a smart track rudder as it has has tubing for rudder directional cable, steering capable footrests already installed and rear mounts for Rudder pin and a rest for the blade when folded for transport installed.
