This is the Ultralight Excel Construction, the Dragonfly is also available in the lightweight Advantage Construction.

Hull Design
Super stable hull shape for fantastic primary stability is great for fishing, bird watching, photography and comfortable paddling. Excellent manoeuvrability comes with its short length. Smooth running hull lines with a sharp keel in the stern make for straight tracking.
Cockpit
This Pack Canoe offer convenient packing of gear, dog or child. Super stable due to the low padded seat. Non skid strips on the floor offer great traction getting in and out of the canoe.
Construction
Durable, yet ultra light boat for easy carrying and transportation. The hull is reinforced hull for durability and stiffness so you can enjoy this boat for years. This is the ultralight excel construction but the Dragonfly is also available in advantage (slightly heavier) construction.
Gunwales & Thwarts
Hardwood steam formed gunwales and thwarts, finished in Tung oil for a beautiful natural finish. High free board provides an increased capacity and a dry ride

Rounded thwarts in the bow and stern for comfortable carry and easy portage
Foot Brace
Smart Track Transitional footbrace is easy to adjust in the boat from your seat. Extension tiller makes changing the left length a breeze. Comfortable heel pad to reduce pressure and fatigue

What is a Pack Boat
A pack boat or pack canoe has a short length, wide beam and ultralight construction. This make pack boats manoeuvrable and stable on the water, and barely noticeable on long portages or shorter trips to the car. These canoes work well with double-bladed paddles, eliminating the hassle of J-strokes (and also why they are often called boats rather than canoes that being the defining characteristic of a “canoe”)..
Pack Boats offer the short learning curve of kayaks, with the great access of a canoe to make something that carries way more gear than a kayak and is not nearly as restrictive for paddling as a single blade canoe. Pack boats are lightweight with user-friendly performance and easier entry and exit making them great for a wide variety of paddlers and uses.
