The Surge True Square Foam Roof Rack Pad fits over roof racks with square bars to buffer/protect your kayak during transport. The True Square style fits only the smaller kind of roof rack bar and is not suitable for larger commercial style bars. The cut out to fit over the bar is approx 3.5cm wide and 2 cm deep . The overall size of the foam pad is 40cm wide and 10cm high and 10cm deep at the ends (Top is curved so the centre is lower than the edges)

Unlike many cradles this block is super quick to put on and take off your roof rack and can be easily stored in the car between uses freeing up the roof rack for other items when not carrying kayaks.
Suits roof racks with a Small Square (rectangular) Bar, but can be used to pad out the edge of box trailers and other similar shaped
Light weight and easy to use.
Made from durable minicell foam with moulded/cut out channel that fit over your roof rack bars.
The curved-shape of the top of the cradle supports the hull of your kayak, spreading the load, protecting the boat and helping prevent side slip.
This foam block is available with 2 other shaped cut outs for different styles of roof rack bars
