For best results load your kayak so the trolley is towards the centre of kayak – perhaps under the seat area in a flatter or gently rounded area. This reduces the weight you are lifting and reduces the risk of the trolley moving under the kayak. Use the included cam tie down strap to secure the kayak on the cart by looping it around the front cross bar (the crossbar with the leg on it) on either side of the kayak and pulling tight. Fold the leg up once loaded to avoid catching on curbs or obstacles. Pull in the direction of the leg- this way if you hit an obstruction the trolley won’t fold up. Pulling in the other direction may, if the wheel gets caught- and the kayak keeps moving, allow the trolley to fold and need the kayak to be reloaded.
