Surge Packraft Fast Roll Top Closure

Surge Fast Packraft is a super light weight pack raft that is super quick to inflate ideal for river crossings portages or floats down the river. A great versatile addition to the kit for the multi-disciplinary adventurer. The roll top makes it very quick to inflate and deflate. The small size makes it easy to pack in an accessible place for multiple uses each day. These are ideal features for those who might want to link hiking (or running) sections with paddle sections without a lot of faff swapping between them. Great for Adventure Racing.

Features

The Roll Top Closure feature of this raft allows you to inflate the raft without a pump or air sack system. Either wave the large opening into the breeze, or use your breathe and the Bernoulli effect to very quickly inflate the packraft*. Once sealed additional top up pressure can be easily and quickly added- if required- using the mouth tube. (Internal pressure may drop once the inflated raft is placed on colder water requiring a top up etc.)

Seat is fixed in position making it ready to go every time and inflated using a mouth tube.

Mouth Tubes can be inflated by pump if you have issues with mouth contact on the valve etc. but require little effort.

4 light weight webbing tiedown points on the front allow secure stowage of gear. Extras can be added if required.

*A great demonstration of how the Bernoulli effect works to inflate this raft are online. It’s not hard but there is technique and is a cool trick. Although demos makes it seem so easy it normally takes some to get the raft inflated in one breath. Search YouTube for “How to fill a 7ft bag in one breath” .
