Surge Paddle Wing XL Carbon 2pc Includes bag 208cm – 218cm

The SURGE Extra Large wing paddle is a full carbon fibre 2-piece adjustable wing bladed paddle with both ends ovalised (indexed) the shaft makes blade orientation a breeze and makes it easier to hold than a round shaft. Paddle includes a lightly padded storage/carrying bag.

2 piece construction allows for easy transport and storage. As well as transport the length (from 208- 218cm) and blade angle (360 degrees) adjustment to suit different kayaks, paddlers and techniques including left handed. 2 Piece construction also makes securing it to a ski or kayak as a spare (breakdown) paddle much easier.

Wing (Propeller or scoop) Paddles are used for paddlers who like to go fast, typically you go further per stroke so potentially go faster overall. However like a higher gear on a bicycle if you are not paddling fast it can make life more difficult so they are not recommended for slower (shorter) kayaks and/or paddlers who are not into speed.

Blade is laid back slightly for longer stroke at the end so suitable for distance paddling like marathon, Downwind, or avon descent.

High performance, light weight and adjustable length. Secure easy to use lever action joiner. The joiner can be tightened so if wear on the shaft over time occurs and causes the joint to slip it is a simple matter with a screw driver to tighten it up .
