Surge Rudder – Underslung Carbon Suits Drummer

Best used in deeper water underslung rudders are ideal for Ocean, Surf and river paddling, providing precise quick steering even when your ski kayak’s tail may be popping out of the water in big swell,  however for white water or super shallow conditions (Avon descent) where impact with an underslung rudder is likely we suggest a trailing rudder (also available).

Made to fit the Surge Drummer this rudder may fit other ski’s however bear in mind there are a lot of variables that need to match up for rudders to be compatible with surf skis including such as hull shape, shaft sleeve angle, shaft length and diameter etc.
