These Australian made Nickel plated copper swages are used for joining stranded stainless steel wire or cable (rope). These swages or ferrules provide a long Lasting and easy to use method of securing rudder cable to rudders and foot rests. Suits cable up to 2.4mm (3/32″) diameter.

This Nickel plated Copper crimp is designed to secure stainless steel cable (e.g. Rudder steering lines) in marine environments (Harsh warm salt water) to deter deterioration.

This suits cable up to 2.4 mm (3/32 inch) such as rudder cable found on many kayaks.

Suitable for use with hand tools – no need for a dedicated swaging tool

Designed for 2.4 mm diameter cable but can be used on slightly smaller diameter cable easily enough

We do also stock 1.6 mm and 2mm this copper with nickel coating to suit smaller diameter cables we also carry a 1/16” (1.6mm) straight copper swage.
