Wilderness Systems Helix Pedal Drive system is optimized for maximum speed in exchange for less effort so you can be hands-free to fish all day. A groundbreaking auto-raising mast achieves zero draft with the use a spring-loaded kick pedal, (raises when you press the pedal with your foot) completely raising from the water leaving nothing to scrape on obstacles) and the unit can be further stowed forward (to increase deck space for standing whilst fishing etc) and out of the way to complete the 3-phases of possible positioning. Tuned to the proven performance of Wilderness Systems’ S.M.A.R.T. Hull designs, and compatible with the Recon 120.
This is compatible with all Wilderness Systems Pedal drive kayaks however the Recon will require an extra kit to fit to the Recon (assuming fitting from new not replacing a damaged or lost drive)
