Wilderness Systems Round Orbix Hatch Gasket – Pre 2015 models.

Wilderness Systems replacement O-Ring/Gasket for the 8″ Round Orbix Hatch – This suits only pre 2015 kayak models originally fitted with Orbix hatches.

This gasket is approximately 23cm diameter and 5mm width/thick.

This is an interior gasket, to seal the cover against the rim – fits in a groove around the hatch cover.

Orbix hatches made after 2015 do not use a foam gasket- to check see if yours has a foam gasket, or if you can see the hatch rim mounting screws with the hatch lid closed.

If screws are not visible with the lid closed it is the newer model and can’t use this gasket. This is not a gasket to seal between the rim and the kayak deck.
