Wilderness Systems Long Blade Rudder Rear Assembly Tandem

WILDERNESS SYSTEMS Long Blade Rudder with a short pin.
Replacement long blade rudder for select Wilderness System and Perception kayaks 2015 to present but will suit a large number of older models and other brands.. Compatible with Wilderness Systems Recon, Polaris and Perception Showdown

Rudder blade is approximately 58.5 cm long, 10cm wide. The blade is made of shaped reinforced plastic. The mountings are made of anodized aluminum, plastic central block with embedded pivot pin.
Pivot pin is 3/8 in. or 9.5mm diameter by 4.9 cm long.
This can be used as a bayonet fitting or if not you need to leave extra length to secure the rudder with a split ring.

Rudder Raise Lower cord is pre threaded to the rudder but will need to be fitted to the kayak and trimmed to length

This rudder is made to take the newer style Rudder Cable fittings (Swivels) but can be used with other attachments but may require adaption

This rudder can be used as a replacement part for Wilderness Systems kayaks outfitted with the plastic BTS rudder bracket (Most models). The pin can fit into a bayonet type moulded rudder pin inset hole in the stern of a Wilderness Systems kayak or used on the rear metal or plastic gudgeons.
