Wilderness Systems Oval Orbix Hatch – (post 2015)

The Wilderness Systems Replacement Oval Orbix Hatch is the replacement for Wilderness Systems kayaks that were manufactured with the Orbix hatch model years 2015 through the present. This hatch is NOT a direct replacement for models that did not originally come with the Orbix Hatch. This hatch does not fit the kayak models made before 2014 because the seal has changed.

This hatch is not a direct replacement for models that did not originally come with the Orbix Hatch, it requires a particular shape flat area to mount. It is very easy to install as a replacement on kayaks with damaged hatches but can be problematic if your kayak was not originally manufactured to fit this exact model hatch.

Fits 2015 model year through the present Use the earlier model hatch for earlier model kayaks fitted with an orbix hatch. Some model kayaks now fitted with an orbix hatch will in earlier models may have been fitted with a rubber hatch (check to see what size rubber hatch is appropriate)
