The MightyMount can be used as a standalone mount, installed directly on a kayak’s gunwale or other surface to attach YakAttack T-bolt accessories, or as a stabilizing platform to accessories things to GearTracs and other track systems.
This mount Does not contain Mounting Hardware
Typically to mount the might mount requires access to the underside of the deck to mount but is super strong. . Alternatively it can be mounted using blind Y Spreading Rivets if no access is available under the deck. The mounting plate holes are counter sunk
To attach you will require
either
4 x Countersunk G316 Grade Stainless Steel Screws, 4 x Nyloc Nuts, 4 x Washers and an screwdriver (or Allen Key driver etc depending on your screws).
or
4 x Load spreading rivets (and a rivet gun commonly available from a neighbour or any hardware store for minimal $)
