The deck loop provides excellent as an attachment point for seats, tie-down points for accessory straps, guides for rudder lines, and many other uses. The pack contains 5 nylon deck loops. The hole spacing of these padeyes makes them suitable to replace deck saddles of the same shape found on Perception, Dagger, Wilderness Systems, Wave Sport  and Mad River Kayaks (made in USA models- no guarantees for UK or NZ made brands.) It will also fit those by some other brands particularly USA made models. Hole spacing doesn’t matter to much if you are not replacing an existing broken deck saddle/ pad eye.

We prefer to use Nylon Padeyes over Stainless Steel for a number of reason and find that they are very durable. If they do break it is normally after significant time and is preferable to damaging the roofrack or deck of the kayak as t hey are easy to replace compared to an expensive repair.
