Surge Deck Mount D Ring (no screw)

Surge Deck Mounted D Ring (includes mounting bolt – fits some existing brass inserts).

Made from a plastic plate with a stainless steel D loop it provides an easy to use attachment point for your kayak deck

Commonly these come as part of your kayak’s outfitting and are used on sit on top kayaks to attach your Seat/ Backrest to the kayak or used leash your paddle/ fishing gear so in case of capsize nothing gets lost.

Typically used as a replacement for a lost or damaged D ring but can also be retrofitted.

Should you not have these recessed deck threads we suggest either nut bolt washer combination (if you can reach inside the attach the nut) or our Cherry/ Y Shaped rivets that can be easily fitted without access to the internals of the kayak and are strong enough for use in the most demanding situations (securing handles etc)
