Surge Deck Mount D Ring (no screw)

Surge Deck Mounted D Ring (Doesn’t include a mounting bolt or screw).

Made from a plastic plate with a stainless steel D loop it provides an easy to use attachment point for your kayak deck

Commonly these come as part of your kayak’s outfitting and are used on sit on top kayaks to attach your Seat/ Backrest to the kayak or used leash your paddle/ fishing gear so in case of capsize nothing gets lost.

Typically used as a replacement for a lost or damaged D ring but can also be retrofitted to upgrade kayaks that need more attachments for a seat or leash etc.

Should you not have these recessed threaded deck inserts (you will want a countersunk screw in either metric or imperial to match your kayaks threads ion this case) we suggest either G316 Stainless bolt, nut & washer (rubber backed) combination (if you can reach inside the attach the nut) or

If you don’t have access inside your kayak to fit a nut our Cherry/ Y Shaped rivets that can be easily fitted without access to the internals of the kayak and are strong enough for use in the most demanding situations (securing handles or seats that take the weight of kayak or person etc)
