Kajak Sport Skeg Blade with End Control Wire

This Kajak Sport Skeg blade is a replacement for a lost or damaged skeg.
This Skeg blade is made from injection moulded reinforced plastic in a foil shape, and designed as a retractable skeg. It is a replacement skeg blade for Kajak Sport’s skeg system “pro”. The Skeg blade is made of durable and stiff glass reinforced nylon. The Wire cable to extend and retract the skeg blade is fitted as part of manufacture (moulded in). This cable has a 3mm diameter and is 2.5 metres long.

This is the same skeg blade as the centre control wire skeg blade but has the moulded in cable in a different location (at the end of the blade rather than the middle). Other shapes are also available from kajak sport and other brands like Dagger and Wilderness Systems

Other skeg parts (separate cables, controllers etc) up to complete skeg systems are available to repair, install or retrofit a skeg into a new or existing kayak from us.
