Keepers Footrest Rudder Slider Track Aluminium with Fittings (Pair)

These aluminium tracks enable plastic keepers brand footrest rails to slide backwards and forwards enabling left/ right rudder control using the full foot (not just the toes).
Additionally they provide excellent bracing.
These tracks are a replacement part and are included in rudder kits so best used for a custom install where you already have the keepers footrests and don’t need the rest of the kit or to replace a damaged item.
Hole spacing is the same as the keepers footrests (so you don’t need to drill holes if adding a rudder to a kayak with existing footrests.
Holes in the tracks are threaded so require the use of the correct screws.
Longer mounting screws go closest to the seat and project into the track a small amount. Using the included countersunk stopper screw (installed through the plastic rail ) provides an interference with the longer screw. This stops your footrests from accidently sliding out of the rail (e.g. during transport). May not be required for some sit on top kayaks
