Shock Cord Hook 4- 5mm Similar to Confluence one with Tongue

This hook attaches to the end of Shock or Bungy Cord of 4-5 mm diameter. It is similar to the hook that comes one many kayaks to hold deck bungy/ Shock cord or Kayak Seat Backrests in place

Installation is simple place the collar or bushing over the cord prior to inserting the end of the cord into the hole in the hook, push the collar over the hook – This forces two plastic wedges into place securing the cord.

To undo reverse the process (may require pliers to remove the collar)

For thinner cord you can double it up to make the required thickness.

This will replace broken or missing Wilderness Systems, Dagger, Perception, Wavesport, Mad River, Mission and many other band kayaks.

It comes with a tongue to retain the clip so it doesn’t fall off but this can be easily cut away if you prefer to have easily movable hooks like on a Wilderness Systems or Perception cords to keep a backrest upright
