This Paddle Shaft is made of fibre glass and is to replace a damaged shaft on an existing paddle or when making a new paddle, more tough enough for all kinds of paddling this is the standard version. At 150cm long it will fit most longer paddles used by sea kayakers, sit on top paddlers and others. This shaft is suitable for the most demanding paddlers but there is a shorter heavy duty shaft that is preferred by white water paddlers who really like to abuse their gear.

These Paddle Shafts are used to replace a broken shaft or in the construction of a new paddle where you already have the paddle blades. They are made up of a circular shaft (without any indexing) so the paddles can be set at any angle and the shaft can be cut to adjust the total paddle length.
