Tandem Rudder Extension Strap with Buckle
The Tandem Rudder Extension Strap with Buckle is the replacement strap that allows you to disconnect  your rudder’s foot control cord/ cable. This is the strap used for the rear seating position. Used to disconnect the rudder from the footrest rail and connect a different set of footrests. When paddling in the solo you may choose to use the more balanced position of the (movable) front seat of a tandem kayak.

For use with the Tandem Rudder Kit Allows you to adjust the length of the rudder’s foot controls – this is used for the rear seating position

This is the set of straps for the rear paddling position. The strap for the front paddling position (longer and length adjustable here)

These straps are parts from the Tandem Rudder kit used to adapt a solo paddling of a tandem recreational two-man kayak. (Otherwise you can only steer from the back seat.) This is the strap for the back seat and can be disconnected from the rudder to enable the front seat to be used in a more central position when paddling solo (using the front seat extension straps and extra foot braces) and then to switch back to tandem for steering from the rear.
