Swage Copper Nickel Plated 2mm

This Nickel plated Copper crimp is designed to secure stainless steel cable (e.g. Rudder steering lines) in marine environments (Harsh warm salt water) to deter deterioration.

This suits our 2 mm rudder cable that is available by the metre but will also be able to be crimped (crushed) enough to securely hold smaller diameter wire.

Suitable for use with hand tools – no need for a dedicated swaging tool

Designed for  2mm of 5/64” inch cable

requires 1.5kg of force in a swaging tool

We do also stock 1/16 inch (approx 1.6 mm) copper swages and copper with nickel coating to suit smaller diameter cables such as that found in Harmony Rudder Cable kits and on rudders found on older model Wilderness Systems, Perception, Dagger & Mad River Rudder kits.
