This is the Metal Collar used in two piece kayak paddles to secure the two sections together. This VE Brand collar is best used to replace a broken or damaged one on VE Paddles. It is to fit a shaft size of approximately 30 – 30.5 mm with aSpigot size is approx 28mm ( Clamping diameter )

This is the Metal Collar used in two piece kayak paddles to secure the two sections together. This VE Brand collar is best used to replace a broken or damaged one on VE Paddles. It is to fit a shaft size of approximately 30 – 30.5 mm with a Spigot size of approx 28mm ( Clamping diameter )
Please note that size is approximate and shafts are often sanded before glueing this joiner into place so best to take the dimensions loosely and safest to use this only on a VE paddle although it will likely work on many other brands.

Glue and other tools are not provided with this item you will need to remove the old joiner and glue this one on with an appropriate glue (many glues will likely work but an appropriate waterproof epoxy available from most hardware stores is suggested.(
