Metal Rudder mounting bracket or gudgeon

Fits many of the Wilderness Systems, Perception, Dagger and Mad River kayaks with stern mounting threaded holes.

This is the older version (pre 2009) but is compatible with newer kayaks that may have an external plastic rudder mount or that only have the inset threaded holes ready to receive a mount.
Hole spacing accommodates 5/8-3/4 inch. spacing. One hole is ovalized to allow for variations in spacing between holes on the kayak.

Pin to stop over rotation of rudder. Some models of rudder can rotate or spin left or right (e.g. in the surf when uncontrolled) which can leave the rudder jammed or damage your kayak. This pin prevents over rotation.

Can be used to fit to many other brands of kayak or on kayaks without threaded holes (if you can screw into a solid block or use a nut and washer on the inside).
