This Rudder Assembly can be used as a replacement part for many all Wilderness Systems kayaks outfitted with the plastic or metal rudder bracket. It may also be adapted to fit other brands of kayak. Note: the plastic and metal rudder brackets are sold separately.

This item is composed of a metal rudder blade housing with multiple slots for attaching the steering cables. Some modification may be required to fit various cable types.  The rudder blade itself is a high quality blend of plastic and composite materials. The rudder blade also has a foil shaped for greater efficiency and less drag in the water than standard flat blades.

This is also a bayonet style rudder pin that will fit various Wilderness Systems kayaks using this system but may not be compatible with other bayonet style rudder assemblies, such as the Smart Track Bayonet Pin and others.

The pin is 1 and 15/16 inches long, 3/8 inch diameter.
