Dagger Stratos 12.5L

Dagger’s Stratos 12.5 offers infinite possibilities. Designed to handle white water and surf the Stratos’ compact shape accelerates easily with a considerable nod to manoeuvrability, with the capacity fitting of a lengthier boat. But it also handles flat water estuaries lakes and rivers with ease gliding well. The Skeg allows great tracking even in windy conditions. Plus, the Stratos 12.5 is equipped with all the features you need and want – bow and stern bulkheads, Storage hatches,  TruTrak skeg system, Contour CFS Seating System, and, best of all, Dagger’s new touring bulkhead footbrace for added connection.

The Dagger Stratos is available in 2 length and two sizes in each length:

Stratos 12.5S – Same boat length as the 12.5L, but this model features a lower deck height and is more suited for smaller to medium-sized paddlers or paddlers with a shorter torso but still with great capacity at 250 lbs. This helps with paddle entry and paddler’s connection to the kayak

Stratos 12.5L – This model features a more voluminous deck height for larger paddlers or those that prefer a larger fit and has a maximum capacity of 136 kg

Dagger 14.5 Small and Large are longer so can carry more gear go a bit faster and handle off shore conditions a bit more easily but have some disadvantages in turning and tighter twisty conditions found in some white water rivers
