Dagger Stratos 14.5 S

Great for those who want the option for more adventure the dagger Stratos is just as at home on tidal estuaries and meandering rivers. The Dagger Stratos 14.5 is the perfect balance of tracking, manoeuvrability, and forgiveness. The 14.5 Foot length of this version of the Stratos gives a bit more speed and storage than Dagger’s 12.5 versions make it  and this smaller volume version of the 14.5 makes it ideal for medium sized and smaller paddlers (or those who like a snug fit) The S is designed to make getting your paddle in the water close to the kayak and controlling your kayak with your knees easier for smaller paddlers.

Beginners will love the stability and forgiveness, while intermediate and expert paddlers will find that the Stratos’s sporty hull is fast and manoeuvrable on any adventure. An adjustable drop-skeg aids tracking, and with two hatches, bulkheads, and deck bungees, gear storage has never been easier. Perfect for multi-day touring adventures, and just as capable for a day trip to your favourite rock garden or surf spot, the Stratos is a do-it-all kayak that stays with you on every step of your journey.

The 14.5 L Stratos has a bit more room for larger paddlers than this version the 14.5S.  The difference is that the cockpit, cockpit deck and overall volume are different but length is similar. Dagger’s Stratos 12.5 Series is a similar kayak that is a bit shorter and designed for tighter turns found in more smaller more aggressive rivers and white water. The 12.5 Stratos it is still a great touring and flat water kayak. The 12.5 is available in the Larger and Smaller volume for larger and smaller paddlers just like this longer version (14.5 foot or 4.4 metre)
