This is a Venturi Scupper Drain Port that will fit the Surge Snapper Ski – when fitted it can be closed to leave a flush hull and when open the venturi effect will rapidly suck water from the foot well of your ski to keep it empty.
This is a common model venturi scupper and is fitted to many other brands of ski, however this model as sold by us comes with an additional larger attached curved base plate that will screw directly into the mounting position on the surge snapper on the hull using the inset threads and (included) machine screws. This base plate is removable if required and will suit some other models of plastic skis sold by other brands.

This is a Venturi Scupper Port that will fit the Surge Snapper Ski – it is a different shape and mechanism to that found in the Drummer model (DeBrizi )
Manufactured from tough salt-water resistant nylon and ABS plastic, each bailer is supplied mounted on a separate curved hull plate using stainless steel fixing nuts, bolts, packing washers. This plate will match the hull of the kayak and seat into the inset mounting position. Once mounted the IYE is flush with the hull of the ski. Comes with 6 x Machine screws to fit to the hull of the ski. This mounting plate is removable for fitting to different shaped skis.
Apart from the plate this differs from the De Brito by having side walls on the projecting venturi creating a tube

The bailer itself has an internal flange so if removed from the mounting plate to fit a different ski will fit from the inside.
