This is a Venturi Scupper Port/ Drain that will fit the Surge Drummer Ski – when fitted it can be closed to leave a flush hull or opened when the venturi effect (effective whilst underway) will rapidly suck water from the foot well of your ski to keep it empty.

Deliveries to regional and remote take longer

This is a Venturi Scupper Port that will fit the Surge Drummer Ski – it is a different shape and mechanism to that found in the Snapper model (This ski uses the IYE Super Chute 60 which is longer and thinner). It will fit a number of other models of skis both plastic and composite including LIKER Spirit505 Surfski.

Approx dimensions of the mounting plate are 12 x 7.5cm (Mounting plate comes in 3 parts bottom plate and 2 half top plates joined using brass screws as pictured)

The deBrito bailers are the benchmark in surf ski bailers. They are easy to maneuver and very effective. These bailers work so well that it is possible for a cockpit to be emptied paddling using only one’s hands or from a standing start with within ten strokes.

The bailers are reasonably simple to maintain and replace parts when required.

There is an internal replaceable Foam Gasket here

The bailer cradle can be mounted with an adhesive such as Sikaflex-291i, 3M Marine Adhesive 5200 or epoxy mixed with an adhesive filler (e.g. West Systems 403).
