This deck mount (or anchor cleat/buckle) is a hard plastic elliptical shape and used to secure 38mm webbing to the kayak deck with a single screw. Used by mission to hold the hard covers in place over hatch openings covered by a neoprene and hard cover combination. This “buckle” will normally have the webbing sewn to secure it in place but the webbing may also be secured by means of an additional 38mm Tri Glide buckle.

This is a single Deck Mount only (sometimes known as an anchor cleat) and is normally sewn into a length of webbing. It does not include the 38mm (1 ½ inch) webbing strap, or any other hardware. such as screws.
Used by Mission kayaks to hold the hard covers in place over hatch openings it will suit other uses that require attaching webbing (38mm or 1 ½ inch) neatly to a kayak. This elliptical hard plastic mount normally sits in a slight recess and is curved on both the top and bottom faces, It can be used on a flat deck but will not sit as cleanly.
This deck mount is also available as part of the complete strap set which includes 2 mounts 2 lengths of webbing strap (sewn into position) and a single length adjustable side release buckle, making one strap. (This strap is available in 2 lengths see below). These strap sets are normally used to hold down the hard hatch covers on kayaks that have a combination hard/ neoprene hatch closure system (e.g. Mission Eco Bezhig, Contour 490, Econizh etc.)
