Mission Neoprene Hatch Covers Set 2 Blue Tabs- Suits Contour

Two Soft Neoprene Hatch Covers to go under hard hatch covers.
This set is made up of 2 covers of different sizes and they are made to suit the Mission Contour series of kayaks.

The front hatch rim is round and the rear hatch rim is elliptical. This set of two covers has one of each shape.

These hatch covers are designed to go under a rigid over cover. This over cover helps prevent implosion in rough conditions. Each cover has a pull tab loop which is used to remove the cover (to gain access to the hatch) as well as to attach the neoprene cover to the kayak when not in use. To secure put the cord leash (on the hard cover) through the loop in the pull tab. Do this to prevent loss especially when not in use i.e. when the hatch is open and the cover is otherwise unsecured.

These covers are distinguished by blue webbing pull tabs (used to take them off the hatch rim) other sizes from mission (to fit other models of kayak) will have different coloured tabs.

They are custom made to fit the mission contour series of kayaks.

Round hatch is approximately 25cm diameter

Oval hatch is approximately 42 x 31 cm (Length x Width)

Mission Contour series includes the 450 and 480 single person kayaks as well as the 490 tandem double kayak (2 person)
