Ultra’s Compact Inflatable Lifejacket uses the UML Pro-Sensor inflator which clearly indicates the armed state. This PFD has highly adjustable 38mm belts and a soft neoprene collar for comfort. The compact Inflatable has a minimum of 150 newtons of floatation providing a high level of buoyancy (when needed), and is light and easy to wear all day. Suitable for use in a kayak or other boats (including off shore sail and power craft) as well as rock fishing.
This PFD inflates once a tab is pulled so won’t accidently auto-inflate in the case of a casual swim.
PVC protective cover over the CO2 cylinder and firing mechanism to enable easy visual check of the state of the inflation system.

Your safety will be improved if you know how to care for your PFD.
PRE-WEAR CHECK
- Visually inspect for damage.
- Check CO2 cylinder is full and screwed in hand tight.
- Ensure automatic cartridge (automatic inflation models only) is screwed in hand tight.
- Ensure once the operating is rearmed that the indication system is showing completely green in the indication window.
- Ensure pull cord is accessible when PFD is worn.
- Refer to instructions for RE-ARMING the PFD if the CO2 cylinder is empty or any indicators are red.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
The life of this PFD will be prolonged if routine maintenance is carried out as follows:
After every use:

Every six months:
- Inspect CO2 cylinder for corrosion or damage.
- Inspect bladder for signs of abrasion and wear.
- Inspect stitching, webbing and buckles for signs of excessive wear or abrasion
- Inflate bladder using the oral tube and leave overnight, inspect for any air loss or damage.
- If there are signs of corrosion, wear, damage or leaks as described above take to a professional service agent.
