norse idun carbon
The Norse Idun Carbon is a very playful kayak that does not fear the tough sea. The boats hard chine hull design means you have full edge control and great agility in the water. The lightweight V-shaped hull and the 12-inch skeg makes it easy to maintain speed and track efficiently through the water. It’s shorter length makes this boat easier to handle (especially for smaller paddlers) than its big sister, the Bylgja.
The carbon fibre composite hull means this boat is strong, light and rigid – making its performance sleek & efficient. In addition to aramid reinforcement in the keel, this model also has side reinforcements to withstand a lot of punches.
The Norse Idun Carbon has 2 easy access day hatches located just in front and behind the cockpit. It has plenty of storage available inside the bow & stern hatches making it perfect for longer expeditions. The deck bungee also adds some extra storage space for those item you want to have super quick access to.
The cockpit ergonomics are designed for all day comfort particularly for smaller paddlers. The seat gives plenty of support while minimizing pressure points.
For larger paddlers we suggest looking at the Norse Bylgja – Carbon or the Norse Bylgja – Fiberglass.
With classic, clean lines the Idun looks sleek and it paddles even better.
